Strolling by the Fewa Lake in the evening
After reaching to Pokhara, resting for some time and having our lunch, we decided to go on an evening walk, starting from our hotel. The route – find the lake and take a walk along it’s shore. The path is paved and easy, and as the land side is crowded with people on night restaurants, bars and shops while the lake turns dark red reflecting the last ounces of sunlight before the dark.
From Hotel Lake Star’s gate, we followed the street pavement down the lakeside street and towards the shore of Fewa Lake. The roads were filled with children playing, vehicles, money exchange shops, bars, restaurants and a bustling life. Taking a boat ride for the sunset also seems a great idea. I have actually done this on my first visit to Pokhara Valley.
